Atlantic
City - Fun Times in a Gaming Capital Atlantic City was more
than I expected. From the moment the sun rose over the ocean, I knew
this would be a memorable trip. First stop - breakfast! I ventured
out taking in the sights and sounds of the Jersey shore. There were
many choices, but I chose the all-you-can-eat buffet at the Bombay
Cafe in Taj Mahal. Exotic atmosphere and the allure of the nearby
casino floor (already busy at 7:30 a.m.) piqued my interest. More>>>

2006 Winter Destinations For getaways close to my home on
the East Coast, I enjoy the Catskills and Adirondacks, both in Upstate
New York. When skiing at Windham or Hunter I stay at the Catskill's
Friar Tuck Resort or Scribner's Hollow Lodge. However, my all-time
favorite Catskills getaway is Mohonk Mountain House More>>>>
Key West - A Caribbean Retreat. When
you're looking for a destination that's a world away, but doesn't
require a passport, I highly recommend Key West, Florida! With its
rich history and old world influence, it offers travelers a great
and unique Caribbean experience. The stunning flowering foliage and
sparkling turquoise Gulf waters offer a refuge for travelers. More

Sanibel
Paradise - During my first morning in Sanibel Island, I had
breakfast in the Old Captive House at Tween Waters, on the causeway
between Sanibel and Captive, where I met a group of intriguing international
travelers and shared some awesome cheese struddle . Much to the delight
of the other travelers, I showed them my early morning finds from
nearby Bowman's Beach - some unique shells to add to my collection.

York City Cabs - In New York City, cabbies can be found all
over the city. They are those ugly yellow cars that speed down the
streets of Manhattan. When looking for a cabbie, look for the numbers
found on the roof of the car. If the numbers are illuminated, that
means that the cab is empty and available for you to take. If the
numbers are dark, that means that the cab already has someone taking
a ride, so look for another one. More>>>

York Central Park - If you catch a cab in the vicinity of
the park and ask to get from the west to the east side, don't be surprised
if you find yourself being driven through the park down narrow-lane
streets. Currently the park is measured at 843 acres and can be found
between 5th and 8th avenues and 59th and 110th street. There are many
things to see and do while you visit the park. Here are several that
should not be missed. More>>>

Maine - We chose to go to Maine because of the romantic affinity
we have always had for New England's rocky shores, and our desire
to see Acadia National Park. Acadia National Park hosts Cadillac Mountain,
the highest mountain on the East Coast north of Brazil as well as
countless other exquisite landscapes. The park is situated around
Bar Harbor, Maine's quintessential Victorian town that is dotted with
colorful gingerbread houses, charming shops, and delightful restaurants
and bed and breakfasts. We visited gardens, mountains, carriage roads,
and sparkling lakes in Acadia. More

A
Spicy Jamaican Vacation - A friend of mine had a small intimate
destination wedding celebration in sunny Jamaica a few years back.
About 15 of us attended the ceremony, after which we took the opportunity
to enjoy a Caribbean vacation as they went on to celebrate their nuptials
with a romantic honeymoon. The experience provided once-in-a-lifetime
memories for not only the bride and groom, but everyone in attendance.
It was truly paradise. More
